I recently had to change the passwords of the email user for a Xerox uStore installation due to a possible hack in the system. This needs to be done in two places for the emails to be sent without problems.
uProduce Mail Settings
- Login into uProduce as admin user (note: this is different from the user which builds documents for stores).
- Go to Settings, then Delivery Providers.
- Edit the mail server in use.
- Change the settings to match the mail account.
- Press the Test button to verify that the changes work.
- Press the Save button to save your work.
uStore Admin Mail Settings
- Login into the uStore admin site.
- Go to Presets, then Mall.
- Edit the mail server in use.
- Change the settings to match the mail account.
- Press the Save button to save your work.
And your done. The uStore admin settings need to be correct in order to send out notifications to users. This is where I was stuck before because I thought uProduce would cover all of the email server settings.
